The Irish College of Ophthalmologists is responsible for providing
Basic Specialist Training for Ophthalmologists in Ireland.
It also has responsibility for providing Higher Specialist Training
for Ophthalmologists in Ireland.
It works closely with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland
in providing training for Higher Specialist Registrars in Ophthalmic
Surgery in Ireland.
